TRUST & RESPECT

In all of our lives it's about TRUST & RESPECT. People size you up in seconds no matter where

you are.. no matter what your life's mission may be. There's no room for Rodney Dangerfield in out lives.. Rodney didn't get any respect? Do you? One negative comment can "tar and feather" your reputation. The above was just read on Yahoo and a Harvard Prof.

But I can tell you frankly and candidly: the only policy is honesty. Screw somebody and you are screwed. I have a new wingnut on my desk to remind me..."Johnny Cash!" I think one great skill is to "look 'em in the eyes."... straightforward to the CLOSE. ..80/20 rule. Listen! I love selling because I love most people. Sure.. not everyone likes Bob Potvin and his BLOG or refuse to read it...but that's their problem, unfortunately. 'Love thy neighbor like Bill and Rene'.

All of life is about persuasion. "Johnson" and I just returned from the CT casinos. I tell you, gambling money and chance  are s the easiest way of winning and the easiest way of losing! Today Dick Johnson  won, I won  (stipend) and the casino won...truly a "Win-Win-Win experience. Not a lot but good money. For when is money not good?. when its corrupt. you know the adage. We need money to live... money to love.. money to save, and money "to burn." How is your ' money factor?' I am flush for the moment .LOL. Johnson gave me a dirty old dollar bill in jest and I threw it at him. I then picked it up.. as a dollar saved is a dollar earned.

I have received two calls on my new Motorola SmartPhone.  Boy, do I love the phone. Sensational and beyond into the wild blue yonder. This makes my 5th SmartPhone in as many years. WOW. When I discovered I could see my Telegram.com blog  an a phone I wanted one. Desire precludes everything in the selling cycle....1. Attention..2.  Interest..3. Conviction. 4 .Desire & Close. "Bingo."  Dale Carnegie... Potvins are about selling..Dad, Son Ben, Son Josh  and distant Potvin-types.. As my new friend  confided in me "I'm a sponge for learning." I like this attitude. So am I, Bob!.

As far as I'm concerned ,"all sales can and should be local." Think about it. Later on I am blogging about Henry Ford's airplanes. No, not "The Spruce Goose" but the Ford Trimotor.. and loving it.

PS: This new Hewlett-Packard ALL IN ONE desktop...wireless and all.is another marvel of 2016. Now, I try to be more "letter-perfect." No White-Out....or tired old erasers.. long ago and far away. The future is here, Ladies and Gentleman as my Falcon Future wagon once was.
