RED SOX ALL THE WAY best describes the team's effort scoring an amazing 17 runs against the Chicago Cubs zero! It was a pleasure watching today's game. Earlier it was Aerial America -"Vermont" which I loved watching as I lived in Vermont both in St. Abans and elsewhere. No Josh today. The weather clouded up changing things. Did ENJOY AJOLLY TIME popcorn and a Diet Coke. Tomorrow I'll watch Joel Osteen at 10:00 AM.

My red Cadillac Allante' received a tremendous cleaning by Josh! It was long overdue and tonight it shows like a new car although it is a 1991 model. My visit to the Legion was late although I enjoyed a cheeseburger deluxe and a ginger ale. jeff Nickerson was back and we had a nice visit. Jeff advises Granddaughter Lily's application for a Legion scholarship will be doubled! I did sit in the brilliant sunshine for about an hour. The Red Sox are trailing the Cubs 4-1. This Friday was special!

It seems my beloved Red Sox just don't have the luck of the Irish! This beautiful Thursday saw Boston's time in Cleveland unlucky. The Sox lost 6-4. They went behind 6-0 and climbed up but not enough. I stayed in watching the entire nine innings of defeat. Chase Robert called from Bentley University expressing his satisfaction of finals taken. I think Chase is ready for summer employment. I enjoyed Jolly Time popcorn and a Diet Coke for supper. Tomorrow I will go to the Legion. and watch RFD JV Jimmy Sturr and weigh myself as I forgot to this Thursday!

Today was a winner! Lily Potvin was back to normal after her trip to Europe, so I enjoyed a meal of fried clams and a Pepsi at the Clam Box. She was all smiles when I arrived. This Wednesday saw me enjoying MLB with St. Louis Cardinals defeating the Phoenix Diamondbacks then tonight then the Red Sox clobbered the Guardians 8-0 with 16 hits. I had NESN Plus. My Wednesday was a Grand Slam!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
It was another hour as I was setting in brilliant sunshine for an hour after shopping for food at Hannaford NB. Spent close to $100.The hype of the day was anticipation of the Red Sox in Cleveland. It was a close game until Cleveland scored four runs in the rain. The Sox lost 4-1. Josh stopped by. Tomorrow is another day.

This Monday was beautiful throughout! There was a slew of mail waiting for me at the post office. In particular was mail from Verde Energy USA. The monthly price was 21.99 Cents/KWH and by calling the price for one year will be 15.99! Quite a saving! Next, I received a stunning photograph of Savannah Hope -age 9 citing her achievement of bronze level. Sent Savvy a letter of encouragement "Go for the gold!" along with a $20 bill. This Monday was brilliant sunshine, so I sat out for one full hour before driving the Cadillac to Birch Hill hoping to obtain a wash from Josh'. Instead, I was presented a bag full of clean laundry and a promise to wash the car later this week. My Monday was wonderful, indeed!

The Red Sox left Pittsburgh with momentum for Cleveland on Tuesday. The Sox seemed to have what it takes despite injuries. Davers will be ready to return to the lineup. I enjoyed seeing the Red Sox go ahead the entire game. Spoke with Ben and Josh. Ben is working on selling some trading cards. Tonight, I enjoyed Jolly Time Popcorn and a can of Canada Dry. Weather looks favorable for the next few days. My Sunday was a victory for Pops.
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
It was a different type of Saturday. I watched Jarrett-Jackson car auction for a while then switched to the Red Sox game in Pittsburgh when the Sox went ahead 2-1. It wasn't like yesterday's victory but good enough to win. Josh called early on inviting me to a campfire. I dressed accordingly and stayed for an hour. Miley was the star and Little Evie and Maddie came out for a while. Came back to watch the Sox win 4-2. Tomorrow's game will be earlier, and I hope to see a sweep. The brief shower was a surprise then it cleared. Tomorrow I will watch Joel Osteen at 10:00 AM.

This day was good with all of the action doing simple things like making my bed and exercising on my bike. Did go to Josh's before going to the Legion. Hadn't heard from him for two days. Found JB mowing his lawn and invited him to the Legion. He accepted! The Legion was hoping. Enjoyed my cheeseburger deluxe and ginger ale. Came home to watch the Red Sox take a commanding lead against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The change was good for my spirit. It was 6-0 Boston as I write.

Suddenly the sunshine is out! The day was rain and a loss by the Boston Red Sox.. My day was spent watching the YouTube and learning more about our 30th President. I enjoy learning more. about CC. I have visited Plymouth Notch many times. Someday I'll return to Northampton and visit the memorial statue of Calvin Coolidge. It's good returning to writing my blog entry.

Today was complete from getting a haircut from "Josh-the- Barber" to his filling air in my Honda's tires. The Red Sox were full of anticipation and the Sox came thru with scoring 4 runs in the first inning and going on to winning 7-2 against the Angels! It was a game of relief! I enjoyed watching Mass from the Washington Basilica. Late in day news came from the Iran bombing Israel. Not good.Tomorrow I will watch Joel Osteen at 10:00 AM.

This quote was found in a wood carving I once owned. It best describes today's weather with sunshine coming in late afternoon. This Friday found me enjoying YouTube's presentation of "The American Presidents." Later on if was going to the American Legion. I was told friend Jeff Nickerson suffers from a "bad back?" Josh was invited to go with me was coming home from Waltham. Tomorrow I have an appointment with"Josh-the-barber." The 'Drop Sox' gave up 4 quick runs on errors! Not good. So much for their yellow shirts!

One thing is sure in life.. NOTHING IS SURE! Today was good with going to Hannaford NB for some groceries. Not a big deal. This Wednesday clouded over and offered the usual of watching YouTube and the American Presidents. The one favorite feature was Preside Truman's Harry S. Truman. Truman's climb to fame was featured in his famous 1948 newspaper headline " DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN!." I have been to the Truman Library in Independence which is outside of Kansas City. This day saw me frustrated in not getting my Sony TV to log onto for the Red Sox - Orioles game tonight.I give up! Spoke with Josh. All is well. I'll try again tomorrow!

This Tuesday was Opening Day for the Boston Red Sox. All pregame ceremonies built excitement of the big crowd against the Baltimore Orioles. The Sox were held to two hits against the Orioles who walked away with a slaughter to the Sox.I sat out in the brilliant sunshine for about 30minutes. Chase Robert called me from Bentley University. Realizing it was to get my mind over the slaughter I reverted to YouTube and watched the ongoing series of The American Presidents. My supper was JollyTime Popcorn and A & W Root Beer. All in all my Tuesday was good!

MY Monday began by getting the mail. I got the National Grid bill for $183.21 and paid it. Next came my assignment of filling 8 days worth of pills. Done ! This Monday culminated with following the Solar Eclipse. I sat out in the sun for about 30 minutes observing only a partial covering of the sun. My happiness came in going to to The Clam Box and visiting Lily Potvin who works there. I presented Lily with some cash for her trip to Europe on Wednesday and enjoying fired clams and a died Pepsi. It has been years since I dined at the Clam Box. Don't think I'll watch the final game of the NCAA with Perdue and UCONN. My Monday was complete!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
It is truly amazing how tomorrow's solar eclipse attention is getting! From television coverage to news paper stories the United States coverage will not be disappointing. I like Fox Weather's coverage all across the US. It looks favorable for the Brookfields as the skies have cleared. I will sit at my desk and look out out the window facing South.
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
Today has been cloudy and cold. this Saturday saw a campfire at Birch Hill.Josh advised "Dress warmly" and I did. Little Evie was too dressed warmly as we enjoyed roasted marsh mellows and chocolate. I lasted about 45 minutes then I called "I'm leaving!" Tonight I watched Purdue and UCONN prevail with victories sending them to the final game Monday night. It's late so I will say "Goodnight!"

What a wonderful way to end the basketball season - 79-77 the Pirates over Indiana State. Both teams wanted to win the NIT Title and the Pirates of Seton Hall won! This victory has meaning to the Potvin family- Ben..Josh Pops and Miley. This Thursday had meaning by going to Hannaford NB for food and a visit by Josh and Miley. We had several inches of snow but that didn't stop us.
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
The Pirates led all the way in their victory over Georgia..84-67! Once again the team played with confidence, Two days from now the Pirates will play for the NIT Title. against Indiana. Should be a good contest.

Watching Caitlin Clark score 41 points for Iowa made my Monday! Caitlin made "Chick Ball" one-of-a kind. It was a long Monday with chores such as putting away clean laundry. I did watch Olivia at the Sydney Opera House again...a sophisticated video.Gold continues to rise at $ 2,249 at the close. How high will it go? Tomorrow night it will be Seton Hall Men's basketball versus Georgia at 9:30 pm. I was no "April Fool" today!

This Sunday has a religious overtone by watching Joel Osteen, first, watching other religious programs from Vatican City and Boston. The real highlight came with the exquisite Easter meal at The Marchessaults. The whole family was there..Ron, Chris, Josh, Heidi.Lily, Maddie, and Evie with crutches and a cast which I signed. Chase called and visited me later at the Poodle. His "buzz" haircut reveals a young man with a smile! The Red Sox won 5-1 in Seattle. Duke lost to South Carolina so the stage is set for the Final Four. We are waiting patiently for Tuesday night, Seton Hall U. men's against Georgia. Tomorrow is April 1..watch out!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
This Saturday was spent preparing for Easter Sunday.I obtained a bottle of wine for my hosts and some candy for my grandchildren. When I got to Birch Hill Josh's truck was there but no answer So I called him and was advised the family was on the way to Albany to see #22 Caitlan Clark play! This was good as Maddie and Evie would benefit by seeing the large crowd in person. I look forward to hearing their reports tomorrow! Happy Easter to all my blog readers!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
This Friday saw me do my banking and got an invitation for Easter Sunday from Ron & Chrissies. Watched the NY Mets loose to the Brewers. The Mets got a single hit and that was it. Prepared a bag full of "dirty" laundry for Josh who came by late afternoon with an invitation to see Evie and sign her cast. Plan on going over to Birch Hill with some Easter candy tomorrow. No Legion this day. Watched the Game shows and NCAA basket ball tonight.

A highlight of this rainy Thursday was watching the Pope's Holy Thursday Mass from Vatican City! It was like I was in the audience because of my large Sony HDTV. Did watch The Cardinals play the Dodgers for a while from LA. I discovered on Wikipedia a feature of Massachusetts License plates. I have been a plate enthusiast since obtaining E6804 for dad in l958. I encouraged him to build a collection which he did displaying them in the cellar. The Late Louis B. Grace, too, was a plate enthusiast. We traveled to New Hampshire to witness an amazing Mass collection owned by Stanley Hamel. Today I have POTVIN gracing my Allante'. "Hobbies are healthy" and I have many: Old Coins, Stamps, Clocks and watches and autographs! What are your hobbies?

Watching the Pirates of Seton Hall men's basketball brought fond memories of both son Ben & Josh graduates of Seton Hall University. Tonight's victory over UNLV 91-68 revealed the strength of The Hall. Now the players have a week before the next competition.

This Tuesday was relaxing for me.The Boston Red Sox beat Texas Rangers 4-1. My man Devers had a home run to set the stage for a victory in the sunshine. The collapse of the Francis Scott Key in Baltimore was world-wide coverage. It is sad to think of the fatalities. In other matters the life-time of small bulbs is short. Must go to Hannaford NB for replacements.All-in-all my Tuesday was good! Seton Hall men's basketball versus UNLV tomorrow on ESPN2 tomorrow at 7:00 P.M.
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
This Monday was one of the best days for what is to come: clouds & rain. I went about my day after my "Big Breakfast" by getting the newspapers and a slew of mail (no checks.) Tonight it was JollyTime popcorn & orange juice. The game shows ended my Monday.

My Sunday was quiet. After reviewing the Sunday New York Times I found the Boston Red Sox interesting. The two teams played to a 5-5 tie and DIDN'T play extra-innings. Interesting. Called sister Janet then sat out in the sunshine but it was too cold for me. I started the red Allante' and warmed it up for a while. Son Ben called from Belmont, NC and advised of Savannah's competition placing 8th.I am sending her a cash reward. Spoke with Chase. Had an interesting conversation with Chase. He comes home for Easter. Must get the mail tomorrow. This Sunday was rewarding for me!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
The Pirates won their second game this week! The team seemed poised with this victory. We don't know who will the team faced next week? The rainy weather prevailed today with my rain gauge measures 2.56 inches! Tomorrow I will watch Joel Osteen at 10:00 AM.

It seems the whole town of West Bookfield and beyond waited in line to pay their final respects to my student "Kemp-Nut." The open casket was adorned with flowers and yes, Josh's motorcycle! Displays of photographs reminds us of Josh's abbreviated life of 29 years. The key word for family and friends is COURAGE! 'A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter' and Josh Kemp was that and then some.RIP my friend Josh!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
It has been winter-all-over with the winds. Gusts of over 50 mph kept yours truly in the Poodle. I watched my share of March Madness basketball and enjoyed popcorn and a Mountain Dew soda. Son Josh came in to pick up the laundry and review my posting on the blog when he discovered he was late picking up Madeline! He left in a flash taking the laundry bag of dirty laundry! This day proved to be productive!
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN

Go and back in one piece and decided to sit out in the sunshine for an hour but I had in my mind 'Will the Allante' start? sure enough it did so I braved it to drive it for gasoline $25.00 cash. 2024 Big East Tournament begins tomorrow a4 4:00 P.M. with Butler and Xavier on FS1. This was a great way to end the cloudy, rainy week: brilliant sunshine. After putting away my clean laundry it was sitting on an easy chair in the sun. It was the way to go for one hour and one half. Called Josh and invited him to go to the Legion WB and he did... briefly. Jeff Nickerson visited with us advising Brad Slater was in the hospital with pneumonia.Wife Carol didn't show up either. Tonight it was Jimmy Sturr and polkas before the game shows. Tomorrow morning I will visit with Chase, Lily, Maddie and Evie and give them some "Disney Cash." Today was rewarding for yours truly!

I was all set to tour West Brookfield in my spiffy-clean red Allante' when it was discovered I forgot to turn off the radio and heat when parking it yesterday. Despite this short come my Monday was excellent. I decided to shop at Hannaford NB today as rain is in the forecast. Tomorrow I will vote early.

My Sunday was interesting despite Seton Hall's loss to UCONN! When I saw how nice the day was it was sitting out in the sunshine for clear to an hour. Josh called and I invited him to raise the garage door and charge the battery of the red Allante'. He concurred and advised me to "drive the car to Birch Hill." When he arrived behind me I thought he would wash the car which was filthy. "Take it to Warren" implied taking the car wash. The car never looked better after washing. Next it was NASCAR at Las Vegas. After watching it to a victory I fell across "I AM JACKIE O". One again it was a favorite of mine. This Sunday was filled with surprises.

Today was a quiet day for me. I enjoy listening to music as the day greeted me.Spring Training with the Boston Red Sox was interesting as I didn't recognize and of the BoSox player's names.
