Douglas Fir, Maple, Honduran mahogany, cherry and two more. Hickory and maple are very hard and Pine is soft. Clear wood w/o knots is more expensive than say # 2. pine. with knots. In building my house I was a wood broker of sorts sporting wide board pine up to24 inches.. Scott says "We have the better Grades."
