My Late friend, Jack Swedis taught me well in thermodynamics: Heat seeks cold!
Dad taught me equally as well when he began heating with wood in 1977. My folks installed a draft dodger as Pop called it! LOL. All of the BTU's seeking the cold upstairs met with their demise: a wool blanket fashioned around a pole... therefore the heat-seeking warm air met it's donnybrook.
You too can benefit by this wisdom. I just mounted a red carpet on my door casing. the electric heating strips will no longer be an energy alligator.Only put heat where you need it when you need it!
