A SUNDAY MORNING COMING DOWN AT A WALMART

The big box store phenomenon is real. Buildings range from 50,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet in most cases. Barnes & Noble, Best-Buy and Walmart lead the way in America. Millions upon millions of shoppers flood the markets around the globe as is the case in  the Walmart-Ware, Mass. superstore.

I particularly enjoyed this morning's shopping as my three grandchildren, Chase, Madeline and Evelyn revealed a certain verve only kids can show. Their ideas and selections where much different than "Dads." SonJosh responded to his shopping traits with a zest for grabbing. Josh knew exactly what he wanted and how much he would spend.

My guess was his towering carriage  of foodstuffs would tilt at $300. His guess was $172. The tally came in at $178..plus Madeline paid for her own way in candy and Chap Stick rollerball.

Marketing today is miraculous.  The computer age allows everything to be recognized instantaneously in price. Impulse buying also plays a role as do coupons. What a way to spend a Sunday morning! I love it!
