MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS - A MOTLEY CREW!

Gone are the days when baseball players took pride in their appearances on and off the field. Connie Mack writes in his book how he and his team was not looked favorably when they checked into a hotel. The pride of the New York  Yankees was manifest with owner George Steinbrenner DEMANDED "Spit and polish." Today, MLB players run the gamut in their appearances with dreadlocks to shaved heads and a multitude of  body tattoos.

The reality is it is a sign of the times. After having spent five appearances on the streets surrounding Fenway Park, Boston, I accept this as it is! Humans are humans and we all have to live in our comfort zones. From bear-bellies to body piercings.. "what you see is what you get!" If anything today's clothing reveals 'America on the run.' Moral guardrails seem to have disappeared. Extreme hair cuts ae telling.. but so what!
