IMAGES OF AMERICA - THE BROOKFIELDS

My good friend, Dennis LeBeau did a great service to the Brookfields by publishing the book entitled Images of AMERICA - THE BOOKFIELDS! printed  in 1996 this retrospective collection of glass negatives is now in print!

This 127 page is from images taken by William Bullard. Each Brookfield is featured with classic images of Turn of Century in a time when there was a train wreck in West Brookfield - November 7, 1907, to group photographs of students of the North Brookfield to include my two aunts..Lydia Potvin and Olida Potvin!

Some of these coveted images will be featured in the Musings of a Country Boy.., me, Bob Potvin!

All of the historic sites come to life in a period where few automobiles were experienced.

The local libraries have copies of this gem of a picture book. The publisher is Arcadia Publishing, an imprint of Chalford Publishing Corporation One Washington Center, Dover, NH 03820 The book is sprinted in Great Britain,

Every Brookfield family should have a copy to share with children and grandchildren.

Thanks, Dennis LeBeau of East Brookfield, MA !

A friend, BOB POTVIN
