JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY REMEMBERED BY A VISIT

It was a December-like Monday with gales from the Montreal Express as the "White Knight Express" LIZAK TOURS ferried into the West Brookfield Elementary School parking lot. The ebullient fifth graders boarded the coach in style. Driver "Mr. Bert" made us feel at home. Our destination: Boston to the JFK Library and Museum!


This spiffy/sleek coach hosts a VCR and a microphone. Humanity from Space A PBS Classic was shown. The crown was silent; the knowledge/ insights/ information imparted to the kids was well received. We were on our way down the Mass Pike. Every move was positive. As we entered the City Line... the Hub of the Universe began revealing itself: The Prudential Building, in particular.




Traffic was light. Everything unfolder according to Hoyle. With the coach parked, I checked in  with Ian Sheperd, Visitor Operations Manager, of the JFK Presidential Library and Museum. We  were "all set" for a 'Memory to Remember": a tour! JFK comes alive with our visit. ..Audio/Visual at its finest. I could tell the students caught on to the JFK charisma. Display after display tweeked the minds of these beautiful "Citizens of Tomorrow." I submit they will never be the same again.


While Ian took the kids around I traveled up to the 4th Floor to begin my search for the
truth about the Vietnam War. I was "off and running!" The library does a fine job in segregating each topic such as the TEXAS TRIP. but I didn't get to that, yet. Instead I found the Vietnam boxes..14 & 15. It is absolutely incredible how the Grinding Bureaucracy really works. 


' THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE IN SOUTH VIEETNAM  IS TO WIN THE WAR against the Viet Cong!'


'Withdrawal  by the United States would be immediately disastrous   to the war effort.'
