WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

After meeting a 64 year old lady with a Mickey Mouse tattoo on her forearm I have a new appreciation of the "here and now." "I've never been to Disney World but I do have a room full of Mickey. How nice. Whatever turns you on. I have learned the hardest thing in life is just being yourself. "Do this and don't do that don't get it with me." I am an iconoclast... plain & simple.


Later in the day I met a young man, age 20, who earns over $50 an hour! He works for the City of Boston working from a cherry picker. He trims trees  and fells them and tells me it is one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. Extremely high risk.. a balancing act. The young man drives a BMW and boast of another fancy car. He wears Michaele Jordan sneakers with gold bands How sweet his life is. 'It's all in who you know."


Next, while waiting impatiently at the Verizon Store/Sturbridge a beautiful young mom and a one year old boy, Jackson were friendly towards me." My son just got a $14 haircut!"


From Verizon to Walmart it was a horse of a different color. Many obese poor people spending their hard earned money.. Maybe $15 an hour or less? I noticed big screen televisions are now on the $600-$800 range. Buy one with your Scratch Ticket winnings. LOL.


But the highlight was spending time with my three musketeers. SP?. Madeline, Evelyn and Lily delight me with their young beauty and intellect. We kid and we kid. Isn't the way it should be? Being a critical parent doesn't work with Pops. Yelling and screaming tones down your relationship. Be happy!


Early tomorrow morning I shove off for Plymouth Vermont, again. Gotta pay my Yankee respects at the grave of President Calvin Coolidge. One of the most honest Presidents having lived in the White House. More tomorrow.
