MGM SPRINGFIELD, MASS

I took a trip to Springfield to see my friend and brother, JOHN B. O'SULLIVAN today and invited Johnny to go to the new casino. With little resistance he agreed. We went and enjoyed the hustle of the holiday crowd. People were milling around having fun eating and gambling. We gambled five bucks on the penny machine and that was it.

The South Street Market gave us two incredible cheesburgers at the incredible price of $11.50 each. The best part of lunch was talking with people. A hopeful couple from Hopedale joined in our conversation and even took our photo with my camera. Another nice lady admitted to winning over $140,000 at a CT Casino. Lucky lady!

This casino is new as well as being classy. All of the slots are state of the art in performances and color! Nice. I really think "Johnson" should try his luck at Springfield, soon! Myself, I enjoy "people watching" although I didn't see anyone I knew!
