It's time to stake stock of our brain power as 2017 rolls around.1952 9our first B&W television 1962. John Glenn circumnavigated the earth in Friendship 7..1972 Son Ben was born. Hand held calculators and microwaves entered our kitchens. 1982 I bought a Mercedes Diesel 240D 1992 Bill Clinton beat Old Man Bush. My first taste with electronics came with my buying an IBM WHEELWRITER II hosting a tiny monitor...$2,000.
Then in 1995 I became of age..$4,000 for a Sony Monitor..a Lexmark Optra Printer and a Dell Computer..desktop. Since then I have expanded exponentially and loving it.From VCRs to HDTVs I try to be on the bleeding edge of things! Freelance blogging is doing the tricks for me.
Telegram.com worked for me with almost 5,000 entries. Then I Declared My Independence as Bob Potvin Blogger on BlogSpot. Now I intend to go exclusively by my baptized name: ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN! If Peale could make millions in his generation why cant I? I'm an excellent raconteur and know it but you must remember. I WORK AT IT. Some days are long and it's mostly having fun.
Newspapers are quickly vanishing and will become historical wallpapers. If you are not computer literate in some form you are not hip! Sure people hate change but I'm sorry 2017 will be full of surprises!
You must learn to survive in these changing times as Kipplinger writes. Dump the habits of yesterday.. make new friends and get a Rhonda Honda! Lose 50 lbs. and grab the bull by the horns. As Fulton J. Sheen wrote "LIFE IS WORTH LIVING" and I'm going to show you oldies how to!
Clean your house literally and figuratively and I'll try to do the same. Straighten up and fly right! LOL.
Sincerely yours,
ROBERT LOUIS POTVIN
