Life is like a flower or weed. Are youu growing in your life...wilting...or dying on the vine! I liken this to several bouquets of chrysanthemums I recently bought on a roadside stand in Brookfield. Natural colors are beautiful. The recipients at Country Corner were appreciative so I duplicated my efforts . Each time I would get a glass jar but had to dump the water for transit. First time no problem. Second time NO WATER. Oh my. Third time water and TLC.
Where are my flowers I asked? "They died, Bob."
"THE ONLY EVIDENCE OF LIFE IS GROWTH!" We all need watering don't you think? But our souls need nourishment too. Man has a talent for poisoning his mind and body. I would like to think I am doing the correct thing in body, mind and spirit!
"Mental gymnastics" some call it. "Use it or lose it." " It is better to wear out than rust out."
