Sprinkles fall but don't dampen my scintillating spirit..LOL. Junk food (chips) and Beethoven keep the Old Man going. Considering my humongous Vermont trip yesterday, boy did I pick a winner. I LUV VERMONT. By the way, what does Vermont mean?
Okay.. black cars. My first car, a 1933 Chevrolet, was black. Dad and I painted it with a broad bristled paint brush. My second car, A 1950 Chevrolet Bel-Air Coupe' hardtop was my teenage pride for $250 from Hardy Motors, Worcester. My third "Black Beauty" was a 1971 black Chevrolet Malibu, my first with AC. What a treat and better syet is was owned by D.L. Peterson Trust of Baltimore. Aetna..I'm Glad I Metcha.. provided me with expense accounts and free wheels when I was "on the road."
Earlier, just back from Vietnam Manager Ted kagles found me a Nova "sled" in Suburban Boston. I polished it up and then redeemed the car to Ted's son when my 1968 Chevrolet came in.. whitewalls and all. Spme folks detest black cars but today they are "IN>" Check em'out.
I learned from Dad to keep our cars meticulous. Now, to the point..HONDA!
HONDA MFG. OF AMERICA since 1970.
My recommendation is ANY HONDA, ANY MODEL ANY COLOR, ANY MILEAGE AT ANY PRICE. Highly recommended!
My new Honda Coach turns 9 next month. When you inspect it you won't believe it. It is all in perception.
Rember when men would "clock cars...spin back the mileage and cheat.I know the story and I don't like it one bit. Today? Maybe more governmental controls?
I repeat: ANY HONDA, ANY MODEL, ANY COLOR AT ANY PRICE!
There was a day when miles was everything not today.day.
Happy Motoring in your new Honda, Rhonda.
