A WONDERFUL DAY AT MASS GENERAL AND DR. DEY

Since 2003 I have been under the care of the bone marrow specialists at MGH. I tell you phlebotomist Lin has her craft of sticking a needle in my arm puts a smile on my face. When I was in thee U.S. Army I recall having patients fainting after James A. Threatte stuck them. Not so with Lin.

All of healthcare is team work from my being weighted in to visiting with my buddy, Dr. Dey. Now the rooms are fixed with new computers. The new system is exasperating as evidenced by my two doctors. The computer is the sign of the times and the SmartPhones are ubiquitous. Absolutely everyone has a palm-with-a-phone.

Interestingly enough a gentleman of 85 years sparked up when I made this elevator observation.' Pasquale-The-Horse Trainer' with an admitted 7 grade education want's one! Pasquale mentored me and I him. How lucky can I be to make a new friend who is a horse trainer and that's no bull!

Also, today I met a patient by the name of Carpenter... a graduate of MIT! I gave out 6 blog cards today.. I think "Oldies" are catching on when I tell them I write a blog.
My quick-witted friend and receptionist Faye dances to a good tune with me. I like
witty people. The half-wits can go the other way.

On my way home I stopped at Barnes & Noble looking for a gift for Maddie who turns 8 on Saturday. And the winner is" The American Heritage  CHILDREN'S DICTIONARY. My intense 500 word training has inspired me to share my enthusiasm with the grandkids. BN.COM/kidsclub will tell you all about it. The word blog appears on page 85 and the dictionary is current 2016 and printed in America!

Nothing is more important in the development of all human nature than learning the exact meaning of words. Trust me. There are over 400,000 words in our language and most folks have a vocabulary of 400. George Carlin enjoyed telling people the seven words you couldn't say on television. Today, just listen to sports radio for an earful of pure, unadulterated crap.

Truculent,  cruel, savage, deadly, destructive, vitriolic. Who does that remind you of?

So dim your lights, relax and be entertained by the Republicans.
