THE MADNESS OF TRUMP'S MARCH

The madness of Trump's madness may just be in the simmering stages of eruption. When Donald Trump espouses "I will be the best military ever" I reflect on my life. While Trump tells of "marching drills" at the New York Military Academy, a quote from father Fred Trump better displays Trump's persona" "he was a pretty rough fellow when he was small." Was he a bully?!

As I see things, only a person who has submitted to military instruction and discipline  can have a visceral experience. Sure, we all had deferments but only a few of us submitted to being drafted at a time when being drafted wasn't for the educated. This military experience is invaluable for a lifetime. My friends who are veterans belong to an elite club. We know the drill! We are worldly and we can look in the eyes of anyone. Trump? I don't know.

Face it, our military runs the show. That's why we have military academies. Some graduates turn out heroes others have problems. It is the pride of the USA to have a military. Federal or State, active or reserve, "standing tall" is the name of the game at any age.

Recent demonstrations at Trump rallies reveal the punks in black beards and others ready for a fight. Is Donald Trump ready for a fight? He admits to being a "counterpuncher." This term implies he won't take things sitting down. Not good.

Trump admits to having "bone spurs" on his heels  and not being draftable. Was this an excuse? I repeat, only a few of us with educations took the step forward, got our head shaved and came to realize "You're in the Army now.. you aren't behind the plow.!"
