I once had a teacher by the name of George Dahlquist who wrote a message on my report card: Capable of doing better." Clearly I wasn't trying hard enough. Over the years I have learned the most important angle in life is the try-angle. To the point one must be stubborn and if you fail "you are about average!" Seriously, I am learning in this digital age you better wear your thinking cap at all times.
