THE MEMORIES OF "JACK & JACKIE" LIVE AT SPRINGFIELD, MA MUSEUMS

TODAY WAS A MUCH, MUCH BETTER DAY FOR YOUR BLOGGER! Thank you!

By chance I discovered a fantastic museum display in photography and other Kennedy mementoes in Springfield. I spent more than 2 hours devouring a pictorial review of the Camelot years of Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy. It was one of the best ever reviewed.

Karen Fisk, Director of Public Relations & Marketing at Springfield took me directly to the collection. It proved to be Mecca for me. This iconic collection of photographs are on loan from the National Museum of American History. Folks, it just doesn't get any better from what I reviewed today... and I shall return.

The photography of Richard Avedon is truly stunning, sensational and historic for the world to see. "The Kennedy's in the White House" display is visceral. A replica of the JFK desk allows you to take your own photo as Commander in Chief. Also, colorful stationery bearing a colored image of the Presidential Seal is yours to doodle on... on display  through March 25th.

Springfield Museums affords an eclectic display of Fine Art. From antique automobiles (2 Springfield-made Rolls Royce) to Indian Motorcycles and early  cars such as the Duryea, fine art, and other displays. This one museum will continue to be my "new' home.

In tune with our forthcoming Spring, The museum is sponsoring their 6th Annual Festival of flowers  April 5-8, 2018. And yes Doctor Seuss memories come alive with a spectacular display of his works.

Think in new directions! Springfield, MA is about 30 miles from "Brookfield" and with your GPS it will be a piece of cake to find at 21 Edwards Street in the heart of  Springfield   city.

Very truly yours,
