ASPARAGUS CHOWDER #1.

It seemed the Carnival came to worn on the West Brookfield Common with all of the white tents and vendors and "Clowns" partaking in the festivities. How nice and how nice were all of the artisans! I chatted with one Beth Johnson -Photographer.. a talented lady with a camera indeed. gotolandscapes.com.

The milling crowd was up for the festival. So was I as the rains hadn't arrived yet. BAker June Glidden exhorted "It's be her in 5 minutes" as she relied on the radar images on her IPhone! Quite the baker, June is. Check out her operation on Pierce Road..New Braintree!

One vendor that rang my chimes was Serenity Bamboo from Stockbridge.www.serenitybambooflutes.com. 413-298-3759. Eclectic  and sophisticated best spells this display. Need a cane? Check it out.

The asparagus chowder was non-pareil. Even better than Salem's Chowder of the Sea! It served as an early lunch for me. Intersted parties may buy a "gallon or two after 2:00 PM. Yum.

How lucky we are to have the church-owned Common.Concerts on the Common  commence on June 20th!
