I have had a change of heat by watching Flea Market Flips on TV. The machinations of the players are very clever, to say the least. Last night I saw an old eagle weathervane transformed into a floor lamp! Amazing Amazon!
It takes enthusiasm, intelligence, creativity and gumption to buy something for $10.. modify it into something like a chameleon and sell it for $200.00.
But, remember, it's TELEVISION! The trading probably is "scripted" with asking prices and counter offers. But that's fine as that reveals how all transactions are made.. world-wide! People like to dicker and remember "Greed Inhibits Selling!" A take-it-or-leave it attitude can cost you sales. Compromise is the rule.. always.
Either folks are working towards a "deal" or they walk away. So I ask.. what is your style in Trading? Mine? TAKE THEIR MONEY! A Morris Lubin tactic. 'A quick nickel is always better than a slow Dime!'. SOLD!
