It's a perfect day this June 14th!For over 100 years, the traditions of Flag Day have been celebrated. Our beloved Stars and Stripes sends a powerful message to the world. All nation's flags symbolize who they are and what they stand for. In America it connotes Freedom.
In my travels to the Orient, China's flag at the airport in Hong Kong stood out as did Vietnam and Australia's flags. Clothing today carries patriotic messages.. some to the extremes.. good and not so good I guess.
Stamp Collecting, traditionally, carries many variations and the OVERRUN COUNTRIES Series of WWII is a colorful set to have.
I think Flag Day tells it all in the spirit of old Betsy Ross. Enjoy the day and wave your hand flags!
