THE WOODCHUCK OF THE DAY February 2nd

Only the shadow knows. Some may recall the radio program "THE SHADOW?" Punxatawny Phil has made tens of millions over the years with a promise! At this point in Winter, anything relaying hope is welcome.

The thrill of this day was found, again, at the Salvation Army.  A vintage "GOOD MORNING VIETNAM"   movie   and attendant box makes for a collectible of tomorrow. I have the DVD, also, and favor my find of today!

For Little Lily comes a diminutive MOZART     Masterpieces

book and 11 of Mozart's masterpieces. I say you're never too old to learn. 1. The Marriage of Figaro ( overture) 2. Clarinet Concerto in B Flat Major (1st movement) 3.Piano Concerto No 21 in C Major.( second movement) 4. Horn Concerto No 4 in E Flat Major (third movement.)  5.Exsultate Jubilate 6. Serenade 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.' ( 1st movement) 7. Serenade "Gran Paritt" (third movement )8. 'Sinfonia Concertante (first movement )9.Symphony No. 40 in G Minor (first movement.) 10.  Requiem (Requiem  aeternam)  11. Hostias.

I have found over my lifetime to appreciate Classical Music without taking it all too seriously! "Wolfgang" is, perhaps, in the "Beethoven league or vica versa? All I know is you are never too old to learn.....never.. so crank up the record player and relax. I do!
