MY POTVIN ROOTS

For the first 20 years of my grandfather's life he was Paul A. Wine..then when he got married at Notre Dame des Canadians in Worcester the priest said 'You are not a WINE you are a POTVIN and I will not marry you unless you change your name back to Potvin!"
And so it was.. Paul Potvin's brothers carried the anglicized name of Wine while he was a Potvin!
