For the better part of 90 minutes I delighted in watching on YouTube the history of the building of the Gateway Arch - St. Louis! For the first time since its completion in 1965 have I watched with interest a feature seen on Modern Marvels and narrated my Max Raphael. It is worth watching.
The construction is unique. The tram is copied from Ferris wheels and it hits close to home with your blogger. Sons Ben and Josh ran up to the stainless steel arch in 1987 touching it! Learning all about its construction just now is a fine way for me to end this Monday. Check it out!
