Corporate America really dowsn't have a clue of the day-to-day operations of their companies. They think that they doi=. Well, I am witnessing how the rank and file grunts, who are paid Minimum Wages struggle to make ends meet and in many cases are unmotivated and discouraged!
I've been there and have done that as a Supervisor. It is the blind leading the blind! There's no vision in the Ivory Towers. All the Board Members think about is the bottom line. Dollar Generals numbers are staggering. Billions upon Billions in sales( $1.165 billion in 2015. and all they want is MORE!
DG is spreading across America like wildfire 900 new stores in 2018. Distribution Centers are everywhere. Today I spoke with a DG tractor-trailer driver in Brookfield. 'We are paid by the mile.'
Containers are unloaded at the Port of Boston bringing all the Oriental crap to Brookfield and the other 22 DG Stores in Massachusetts.
Working conditions apparently stink at DG and morale can't help but be low. TURNOVER IS EVIDENT.
Well, things cannot continue this way.Clean up your PIG PEN and give some dignity to your help....otherwise it will be BYE BYE! I personally know DG workers who have flown the coop. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to observe the truth.
