UNREAL WINTER SNOWS

This is one of the earliest snow storms I can recall in recent times! It seems the Halloween storm was another early storm. I do recall back in 1979 or thereabouts another early snow fall.

Tonight the white stuff is building up fast. The thundering trucks and plows of FIJOL haven't begun. The present temp is 27.5 degrees. The one saving thing is the ground isn't frozen yet. I also recall the Thanksgiving Day blizzard of 1971 where one foot was dumped in the Brookfields. It was all gone long before Christmas!

America's weather forecasting is so beautiful with all of the graphics. Every channel tonight is The Weather Channel. The reality is... snow purifies life. Tomorrow we will look out our windows to "a world unknown! Time to dig out my copy of Snowbound by James Greenleaf Whittier!

Breakfast at the NB Senior Center tomorrow morning.
