THE JOB FAIR IN AUBURN WAS ABUZZ

I have never seen such a job fair as it was in Auburn today! In speaking with the promoter from the Worcester Career Center the unemployment level is as low as it has gotten in decades at 2.5%. The insight gotten was "older applicants are being hired because they are reliable and dependable!"

I enjoyed talking with Headhunters from MAPFRE, David Clark Co.  Combined Insurance and others. Everybody was affable and seemed interested. It was a good mix all the way around.

I then traveled to the VA and got a Flu Shot an spoke with a nurse about my rash. Going to have a dermatologist inspect it. Then to Staples in Sturbridge.

Early on I witnessed a traffic jam on the Mass Pike like never having witnessed before. It may have been 2 miles long with a mile's worth of tractor trailers. Thank Got it was going the other direction. The breakfast at NB was 5 stars!

All roads were clear of snow. The problem will be black ice tonight!

The shades of night have fallen!
