NOTRE DAME des CANADIENS CHURCH SOLUTION C. Bob Potvin 2018

The incredible dilemma and controversy involving a Catholic Church built in Worcester in 1929  for lots of money has one practical solution to it all: Dissemble it block by blick, number them, and move all parts to the whole back to Springfield, MA. It can be re-built on the grounds of the Big-E or on the grounds of the Springfield Museums site. This idea is really a no brainer as I see it.

Moving anything is nothing new in the framework of architecture. About 1928 my father as a 15 year old observed the dismantling and relacation of the POTTER MANSION to Storrowtown at the BIG E, West Springfield. Today it is a testimony of Captain John Potter of Olde Brookfield! Thousands of visitors visit the house regularly.

On Cape Cod  HIGHLAND LIGHThouse WAS MOVED SOME 300 FEET BACK FROM THE ERODING COASTLINE.. Again, a no-brainer. That's why we have engineers to visualize and orchestrate tasks of "impossible" visions. WALT Disney is QUOTED AS SAYING "THE impossible TAKES A LITTLE LONGER!"

The logical candidate for undertaking the removal and rebuilding of Notre Dame des Canadiens is THE BIG "Y." Food Maven. They have the brains, the bucks and the brawn to overview this! My moving the church to a Museum environment ALL folks from around the world will have a much better understanding of our FRENCH-CANADIAN AMERICAN HERITAGE!

'Make no little plans for there's nothing in them to stir mens SOULS!"

Just do it D'Amour Family!

Thanks,
