THE OLD POWER OF POSITTIVE THINKING

The Late Norman Vincent Peale lived to nearly age 100. His fame and fortune were big time in the scheme of things. Television was emerging when the good minister hit the jackpot with THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING. The year was 1952.

I was introduced to Peale's writings in 1973 with a book entitled YOU CAN IF YOU THINK YOU CAN.

Many moons have passed since then and the Moon and Sun and Stars have taken on new meanings. WiKi Leaks and all technologies are redefining our lives as I write. I don't know what to make of things, frankly. Man's progress reveals a world much unlike Dr. Peale's.

The only thing that is constant is the weather. Today, it was murky. Tomorrow, who knows? I did notice a tinge of green grass on the hilltops. After all we will be a week into March tomorrow.

As far as Dr. Peale goes... or should I say went, I think he would like my BLOG Vanity Plate..LOL.  He was the son of a newspaper man  and a prolific writer and a master of the stage. I am still inspired by Norman Vincent Peale and enjoy watching him on YouTube! Check him out.
