JERSEY BOY - FRANKI VALLI

Not many rock and roll performers have a rebirth in their

eighties. Franki Valli of the Four Seasons fame does. The Jersey Boys emergence has catapulted Frankie into some real dollars, big time. Reports reveal he gets over $500,000 a month. That will allow Frank to buy his chalet in France!




Frankie and crew have been at it for decades. I was a teenager in love in 1961 to the tune of "Sherry" and "Big Girls Don Cry." Later he told us to "Walk Like A Man." So many hits .. so many memories.




I saw Frankie perform twice: The South Shore Music Circus in 1974 and in Hartford around 1993. Valli's falsetto voice seems unique in the framework of pop music.
