REV. DAVID LIBBY

I ran into an old friend at McDonalds this noon: Rev. David Libby, age 78, residing in North Brookfield. I like Dave for his winning smile. Better yet, this man of the cloth once was in the company of Rev. Norman Vincent Peale! Mr. Libby tells an interesting story about NVP. ensconced in a chair, Mr. Peale "came alive" when he spoke to the visiting ministers.

Dave has served his parishioners well over the decades in addition to being married raising three girls. Dave is a 'wood chopper' which few townspeople know. Now in retirement "I play checkers on my computer!" Interesting.

Out visit at McDonalds was friendly and brightened up my day a bit!

Hump-Day was more moderate yet we are not out of the woods yet. I heard on ABC News a wind hust in Upstate NY hit 81 mph! Heavens to Betsy! ANd now I hear of the "S Word" on Friday. For me it will be March Madness and I'll leave it at that! If you see Rev. Libby why not "say hi!?"
