A PRAIRE HOME SATURDAY

Johnson came through the door admitting "no money to gamble." Alternatively we did a gigantic circle in his red Sierra from the Brookfields to Fitchburg to his "castle." That wasn't bad so we shot over to South Athol for the fun of it. Dick likes to reminisce his boyhood so we went by the Morgan Memorial camp. Then we traveled down Highway 202 towards Ware.

Debbie Wong is Mr. Johnson's favorite. I prefer caviar. LOL.

This Saturday opened up to being a beauty. We have enjoyed an abundance of April Sunshine this year.

The grass growing is ahead of schedule. Josh and Chase tackled their lawn mowing in tandem.. a Husquavana rider and a John Deere. Chase likes the Deere. I actually enjoy my Toro. The grass season is coming on fast and we ae ready!

Tonight I delighted ion listening to Garrisson Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. This is a great radio program found on Public Radio. You can conjure up in your mind life as it was, before television. Keillor is my age and does a wonderful job in bringing us to "yesterday." I have been a fan of Keillor since the mid eighties. The content of the program is consistently great...and all of the kids are above average!

No political news to report. Clintons' lives were featured last night.

We are getting down the home stretch of April. In a week the flowers and shrubs will be in full bloom! I'm ready!
