"Suddenly, the Yankees Resemble The Team They Were Expected To Be" On July 4 the Red Sox were in first place with a record of 53 & 32. The Yankees were 42 & 41.ten games behind! Yesterday the Yankees were in second place 5 games behind Tampa Bay. Since July 4th their record is 26 wins and 11 losses! It seems the Red Sox are in great trouble some five games behind Tampa Bay and tied with the Yankees who are also five games behind. The Yanks seem to have the momentum in winning which the Sox don't. This Thursday was full of foul weather from tornado warnings to floods. The forecast is not good with the possibility of more rain and winds by Sunday. This day was quiet. I had a meal at the NB Senior Center.. a Chile Baked Potato. UGH.
