REPORTER HELEN THOMAS

Once again I rely on YouTube for edifying clips.. this time Helen Thomas who was a reporter for 10 presidents. In a 30 minute interview last night I was pleased to hear of her admiration of LBJ. Thomas said he was at the top of the heap for all the social programs he enforced while president.

Better yet Thomas gave a retrospective slant on how the Vietnam debacle became reality. While WWII was a popular war Korea and Vietnam wasn't. She cited the fact Ho Chi Minh wrote many letters to FDR asking for assistance. When it wasn't given Ho went to China and followed their Communistic philosophy.

Any body interested in the truth about LBJ as a president viewing this interview is a must. She lived to be age 92. I feel comforted in learning the truth about Lyndon and boy did Helen Thomas reveal LBJ's traits!
