March and March Madness has several connotations. Some of us are collegiate basketball fans and weather enthusiasts. In basketball, it's The Big East Tournement at Madison Square Garden. The madness of March can mean the Nor'Easters. In 1956 we saw 3 blizzards in 8 DAYS in March! Now it seems we are poised to have more snow in March than all winter as the temperatures and National weather patterns seem to "promise" snows.
The saving grace of March weather is the sun. The more we get into the month of March our optimism increases. On March 10th Daylight Savings begins. This in itself will help.
The winds of last Monday were phenomenal ...worse than snow. The evidence of the winds are trees down. Are we in for more? Seems that way. It's 21 degrees right now and spitting snow. OMG.
I say
Forward March!
