MAKE SURE YOUR PENSION RIGHTS ARE VESTED!

My exit with Aetna Life & Casualty in 1977 saw a promise of $55 a month at age 65. I said "it will be equivalent to a loaf of bread." Tomorrow I pick up my "loaf of bread" about $232. In researching the value of $55 a month it was right on with a cost of living allowance.


I was smart in making my exit when I did and being able to do what I wanted in my life. Vested? Check it out. My time in the U.S. army counted!
