PBS WORLD WAR I

The two nights of World War I documentary on PBS was both horrifying and educational. One hundred years later evokes distant nostalgia of my maternal men who fought in France. One even was killed ( Albert Mathieu of North Brookfield, Mass..)

President Woodrow Wilson (1913 - 1921) ruled the roost promoting our Patriotism. At the end Edith ran the show as Wilson had a debilitating stroke.

The War To End All Wars was short lived as Adolph Hitler had other ideas.

More statistics later.
