'SCIENCE TIMES' EVERY TUESDAY

I delight in reading the Tuesday New York Times SCIENCE TIMES.

Each week there are features and snippets on  a myriad of topics. Today they write 'New Hip of Knee/ New Place Like Home  It reads "after joint replacement, home can be as good as rehab." The writing is superb saying "693,400 total knee replacements were performed between 2000 and 2010.

Another headline reads "Thyroid Drug Isn't Helping Older Patients."..levothyroxine to no  affect.. "It's a strong signal that this is an overused medication according to R. Joan Brito of the Mayo Clinic...Synthroid"

Another brief topic is "Soda Is Tied To Brain Aging"... "drinking sugary beverages is associated with makers of accelerated aging and early signs of Alzheimer' disease."

Another reads 'FRIENDS, IN SICHNESS AND IN HEALTH" ''Women' stories of friendships that can help carry then through in
 crisis."

Finally an article reads in headline "RUNNING MAY BE CONTAGIOUS" "ur workouts may be shaped by what our friends do."

Each Tuesday this great Times Section is dedicated to you, in sichness and in health. Good stuff!
