THE INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM OF WORLD WAR ii

Natick, Mass April 15, 2017.
Superlatives such as PATRIOTISM, COURAGE, BRAVERY, HOPE, HONOR, UNITY, RESPONSIBILITY, FORTITUDE, PERSEVERENCE AND INGENUITY are taken from the brochure of T I M of W W II in Natick, Mass.

Never have I visited a military museum with such meaning. Kenneth Rendell, founder, has shown his love of Country, his understanding of the military history and shows a collection non-pareil from FDR to Hitler to McArthur and many many more names of the WWii Era.

The museum transcends so much in the American lexicon  of much of military symbolism. From "Good Guy" 'to "Bad Guy" and the hundreds of museum displays are far-reaching into our past. As a Vietnam Veteran I appreciate everything in a certain, definitive way.

Of interest to me was a German map of our beloved New England showing the U-BOAT positions surrounding Cape Cod! Also, the wailing of attack sirens in Germany tell another story. Americans of all ages and from around the world are invited to witness the more than "7,500 artifacts, letters and documents on display.

Docents Joe and "Alexis-of Charlton" do a marvelous job in making this stranger most welcome.

A new building of 62,500 feet will be a wonderful testimony to our posterity! So much insight can be obtained for folks of all ages. The Museum is a 501(c)3 and seeks Donations or Pledges from $10,000 down to $100. You can contact Susan Farrington sfarrington@imwwii or call 508-653-1944 for more details.

All museums are for the purpose of edifying everyone! In the new season of Spring why not visit and recharge your PATRIOTIC  FERVOR!
