LIGHTENING STRIKE ON BIRCH HILL!

Blood glucose 120   Weight 169lbs

Last night at 7:35pm Josh called to relate 'lightening struck a tree in the middle of the field to the East'! Amazing as it is the one bolt destroyed this tree to smithereens. I feel getting lightening rods on the house is in order!

The fine June weather has turned into undesirable daily thunderstorms. We do need the rain but please don'T rain on our parades!

My good friend Lowell V. Arms called from Concord, NC. We chewed the fat about old times and kept the fire glowing. We are NBHS graduates, veterans of Vietnam, Worcester Junior College and other good things.

The other excitement on Birch Hill is the Potvins have a new-used speed
boat! Details will follow. Timing is great as the kids will  learn about waterskiing and all good things. I might ride in it with a life vest but that's it.... too old to learn new tricks! LOL. Chase drove again in the field showing me the tree that was struck. Amazing!

Spoke with Dr. Shankar's office about my  back pain. An MRI has been ordered for July 9th in Waltham at 5:00 PM. I endure the pleasantries of old age!
