There's a jaundiced eye in America to the dilemma of being homeless.
I wonder how many hundreds and thousands have froze to death during this
brutal weather experienced across America! Not good.

In my travels from Sydney, Australia, to the streets of Worcester and Boston I have experienced the homeless. Panhandlers get a bum rap by many with whom I have quizzed about being homeless as I was back in 2001! They are down trodden by those who strive for "more."

I see all of these empty houses in the Brookfields and elsewhere  while the owners bask in the sun in warmer climes. I see these monuments as churches, empty, with exorbitant heating expenses capable of accommodating the less fortunate. Big business has a moral obligation to address the homeless issue. HOMELESSNESS JUST SHOULDN'T BE IN AMERICA .

FINALLY: I heard about a grade school friend who was homeless; and died. My mother said "As long as he has a mother he will never be homeless."

President Jimmy Carter has set a fine example with his Habitat for Humanity program!

GREED permeates the airs of the affluent around the world.. I don't appreciate what I know as
