THE BRUTAL FORCE OF THE NORTHWEST WINDS

Yes, winter has arrived with a vengeance! Not only do we have white grounds of snow we have a wind chill factor that will freeze the balls off of a brass monkey! While the highways on Route 9 are bare the west wind needs no ode!

Minus 4 doesn't seem that bad. I had minus 1 driving down to Country Corner. When questioning the head pumper Mark he was quick to respond "This isn't bad compared to last winter! Remember?" I sure do.. my water pipes froze.

All of a sudden it's clouding over. No sunshine makes the difference.

Now my problems begin. A soft tire on the Honda implies I picked up a nail or some type of foreign body. I tried to inflate it to no avail. Then my television is playing games with me. I hit the on button with the remote, it comes on to HDMI 1 then fades away. Help!

The main part of my home has gas-hot air. Nice. My porch/office is a sieve as I have cold air infiltrating about the base board. I thought I fixed it last summer to no avail.

Yes, it's a Monday but not a funday! Wish me luck. Baby it's cold. It is brutal and now we must truly ENDURE it all.
