Never have seen such rainfall as today. What snow you say? Going, going gone! The running waters from Foster Hill travel rapidly by my home. The storm drains pass the test except for the "puddle-jumping" puddles that spray H20 big time.
Today I decided not to have any disturbances like a newspaper, a radio, a television capturing my mind. Instead I went about my business in style. At noon there was a knock on the front door: "Johnson" inviting me for a sub downtown. We then did a tour of War, Hardwick and New Braintree for the fun of it."No money..no funny."
Then Josh asked me to baby sit two daughters under the weather: Lily and Evie. I treated them to two pints of Neapolitan ice cream. I sat in total silence at their Birch Hill estate browsing a picture book on The Wright Brothers. It seemed to me the real world came into view with cars, gliders, telephones, incandescent light bulbs and all the rest.
After sitting the girls I shot over to Quaboag for Chase Robert's b-ball game. It's my delight to see both Chase and Maddie hustle on the courts.
The temperatue has plummeted from 50+ to a present reading of 33 degrees. Where did all the snow go - I don't know. To Sturbridge and Southbridge tomorrow on Official Business! Having already taken my bath I will now ensconce in my easy chair.
Say "Good Night, Dick!"
