MY SATURDAY RECAP

A busy day.. a good day several trips to Birch Hill to Chase mowing my lawn to a surprise visit from "Johnson!" No more gambling for the duo who once enjoyed weekly trips to the Indians in Connecticut! Instead we did another junket west to the Quabbin after dining at Debbie Wong in Ware.

This July Saturday was warm.. then  a return to Josh & Heidi's for  "meat bake."

Charcoal prevailed in the outside cookery. Josh and friends handled tons of food for the more than 30 contemporary guests and their kids. Then the East wind kicked in and it actually got cold! Like unheard of. Visitors commented on the differences in temperatures from downtown. Women put on sweaters and kids frolicked around. Little Evie took charge of her many friends.

I chose to leave the party to see the Red Sox fall to the Detroit Tigers! tomorrow is another day! GO SOX!
