My trip to the VA podiatrist proved to be revealing. The good doctor prescribed an antibiotic as the left second toe seems infected.
Did see nurse Suzi and Dr. Brinda Sanjay at the clinic. Both ladies demonstrated great concerns and advised me "to go to U-MASS ER.
Josh and I did. We were seen by a vascular surgeon. X-RAYS were taken and blood was drawn.
The bottom line is we arrived back home near midnight!
It is all about circulation and keeping my body warm. Josh got me a new pair of wool slippers.
