A TRECHEROUS MONDAY AFOOT INDEED!

The dangerous footing is reason enough to stay inside! Early in the AM it wasn't too bad. I picked up my New York Times at Country Counter without any problem. By 9 AM sleet and freezing rain was making for dangerous conditions. By 10:30 when I got my mail at the post office I noticed how dangerous things were getting.

I got home safely after going to Dollar General - Brookfield.. Since then ice snow cover my driveway.  Fijol's plow was scraping the highway.

It appears I will have to have sand spread all over my driveway otherwise I'll slide onto route 9.

My 'Chiquita' showed up and took care of my housekeeping needs. I had done much myself yesterday.

Get ready for 2020!
