BUSINESS AS USUAL

Sunshine at the end of this "Brief December Day" reveals the beauty of the fresh-fallen snow. The two-day storm will be difficult to beat all winter. Blowing snows reveal the purity of the drifts. Because the roads are treated and still are not frozen, they were clear by the end of the day.

My neighbor Renee sported a snow rake. I think by the end of the week we'll be hearing about collapses. Icicles have formed and tonight's freeze will make matters worse.

Did get the Honda in for a State Inspection.$35 plus two new wiper blades PASS! Now must get the front end aligned at Parsons next week. Parking brake needs adjusting.

Bought a mouse trap and a Welcome mat to control snow on floor. Still no birds!

Have an appointment with the VA Podiatry tomorrow at 2:20 in Worcester. SonJosh has agreed to drive me in.

DISH satellite service is scheduled to come on Thursday. Spectrum sealed their fate with a price increase to $161.93.

Suddenly it's pitch dark and 5:00 PM!
