WHEN JACKIE CAME TO THE BROOKFIELDS

So beautiful and so young..It was the beginning of JFK's presidential quest in 1958 Ed Krock entertained Mr. Mrs. Kennedy. Senator Quinn put the dynamic duo up at the Massasoit Hotel in Spencer.J. Irving England shot some photographs as Spencer and the Brookfields cheered on our future President. Years later I wrote a cover story for the New Leader. I presented a copy of England's photo to the JFK Library.


Years have passes since JFK-JBK were in these parts but the memory hangs tight to our souls. RIP JFK  JBK.
