Now that I have your attention let us proceed. I was going to write about President Calvin Coolidge and his sense of humor and may still do it. Mr. Coolidge was the deadpan-president of the roaring-Twenties. Coolidge did some amazing things like PAYING DOWN THE NATIONAL DEBT Through his Treasury Secretary, Andrew Mellon. The Depression took away so much of the National Spirit. But Coolidge's humor lingers.
When asked about a sermon and sin Coolidge said the Minister 'was against it.
Coolidge, a Vermonter was Mayor of Northampton and an Amherst College graduate. I have been a fan of Coolidge for 60 years but not of Henry Ford. Who cares about Ford's dashboards? LOL
