Selfie aficionados pay attention! This is about the history of photography ad not to be taken lightly! A photograph is a "mirror with a memory." French artist and designer named Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre struck a partnership with a fellow inventor Joseph Nicephore  Piepce to develop a method to permanently capture the fleeting images visible in a camera obscura. This was in 1829.


Thus photography was born as a mirror with memory.
Things grew and the famed Civil War photography, Mather Brady gave all of photography a certain posture. Photographs helf people understand their world and appeals   almost every aspect of lives. There's power in pictures.


Every aspect of our lives rely on photography. Americans were trying to free themselves from ties to England. "The middle class portrait was the photograph. In1895 X Rays came along.


Photography revolutionized how we live today. Eastman Kodak transformed the photographic process as did Edwin Land and Polaroid. It was the miracle of the mind and there has been no stopping. From Tin Types to Ambrotypes the world of photography is a marvel of the universe.  From landscapes to great scenes and men of the universe the sky is the limit. And satellite photographs continue our " dream of the ages."
