THE AFTERMATH OF THE STORM

Blood glucose 111

West Brookfield seems to be the hardest hit in the area. Tree surgeons and bucket trucks are all about town. Several homes have trees lying on them. The path of the storm seems to be Northeast at the junction of Routes 9 & 67.

Throughout our town are divided trees... those that are decayed... some huge divisions others small. High winds took down significant branches. The outstanding tree down at the root ball comes at Wickaboag Valley Road  beyond Birch Hill Road. The size of the tree is truly amazing!!

Cleanup will take time! Our only hope is we don't get hit again. Sunday night saw pea-size hail fall a little before 7. As mentioned Josh's anemometer registered a peak gust of 98mph. I don't know if any other instruments in town had similar recordings?!

More storms on the way! Cooler weather tomorrow!!
